Fred Edwards | Advisory committee

Mr. Edwards has over 25 years of business experience in the Canadian marketplace. This has included both the design and implementation of business start-ups and the negotiation and purchasing of million dollar corporations. The structure of these transactions has always involved a hands on management style. Mr. Edwards is President / CEO of Servpro Cleaning (Calgary) Inc, a privately held corporation. Servpro has 44 years in the Calgary Cleaning industry and is composed of a team of over 700 employees. In addition, Mr. Edwards is the President / CEO of Servpro Canada Inc. This organization is currently developing Canadian franchises with the expectation of over 100 locations across Canada within the next 5 years.

Additional business interests for Mr. Edwards include his position as President / CEO of Due South Holdings, a Panamanian corporation involving real estate holdings and property management. He is also the Vice President of the Monthly Marketer, a Canadian corporation specializing in real estate database management solutions. In 2008 Mr. Edwards was honored with a "Leader of Tomorrow" Award presented by Business Calgary Magazine recognizing his presence as a visionary business leader.

Mr. Edwards is the proud father of 2 young men and takes pride in supporting several worthy causes. Most recently Fred has acted as Vice Chairman of the Missing Children Society of Canada, as a supporter of the Calgary Handi Bus Association through the purchase of a Handi Bus, and is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association of Calgary (BOMA) volunteer board of directors.

Marie Rajic BA, MA, MPA | Advisory committee

Marie Rajic was born and raised in Calgary. She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in political science from the University of Calgary, a Master of Arts (MA) in political studies and a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Manitoba. Marie has spent the last three years as Prime Minister Stephen Harper's government senior political staffer in Alberta. As the Executive Director, Regional Affairs, Marie was the senior government spokesperson for the region and oversaw coordination of policies, programs and communications in Alberta.

Marie is currently Director, Western Region, TransCanada Corp., in Calgary . She works with TransCanada's pipeline, power, engineering and operating units to provide strategic advice and assistance on provincial and territorial government legislation, regulations and policies. Marie was one of Calgary Top 40 Under 40 in 2008.

Miklos Nagy CFA, CFP | Advisory committee

Miklos Nagy is President, Director, co-founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Quadrexx Asset Management Inc. Miklos Nagy is also Chairman, co-founder and Director of Canadian Hedge Watch Inc., a Toronto based publishing and educational firm focusing on the Canadian hedge fund industry.

Mr. Nagy is a well-known authority on alternative investments and hedge funds in Canada. He is the co-author of Canada's first hedge fund book, "Hedge Funds for Canadians", published by John Wiley and Sons in May 2003. Second, updated edition of this book was published in July, 2005.

He has been featured extensively on national television and newspapers about hedge funds. He has also been invited as a speaker to numerous financial seminars and conferences for several organizations.

Mr. Nagy has 22 years of financial industry experience in Canada including Senior Partner at a medium sized financial planning firm and Credit Analyst at Credit Suisse Canada in Toronto.

Mr. Nagy studied Math and Computer Science in Hungary, and graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from the University of Toronto in Economics and Statistics and holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CFP (Certified Financial Planner) professional designations.

Mr. Nagy is Chair of CIFPs (Canadian Institute of Financial Planners Association), a member of CFA Institute, the Toronto CFA Society and a founding member of the Hungarian Society of Investment Professionals, Budapest.

David W. Crombie | Advisory committee

Mr. Crombie is currently employed as President and CFO of Conserveoil. Through his consulting company Crombie & Associates/DC Capital Inc. he has raised over $250 million for private development and provides development and operational advice to clients considering real estate as an investment. Current clients include major corporations and several independent owners. Current projects are in North America, Europe and Africa.

Throughout Mr. Crombie's career he has held various Executive positions including; VP development for CP Hotels and Resorts, VP Development and Finance-York Hanover, VP Finance and Development Three Sisters Resorts in Canmore AB. He also held various accounting positions with the Molson Group of Companies.
